We stayed at the Goa Grand Hyatt from December 31, 2024, to January 4, 2025, and had a mostly fantastic experience. Highlights: * New Year's Eve Extravaganza: The complimentary New Year's Eve party was absolutely incredible! While the staff was understandably overwhelmed due to the sheer number of guests, the overall experience was truly luxurious and memorable. * Exceptional Service: * Kartikya, the manager at the Pool Bar, was incredibly helpful when we arrived and all the kitchens were closed. He went above and beyond to find us food options. * Sudha at the Chulha restaurant was an absolute gem. Her kindness and warmth made our dining experience truly special. We enjoyed dining there multiple times thanks to her excellent service and the delicious food. * The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the staff, especially Moupiya and Kapil, were incredibly welcoming and attentive. * Water Sports: We had a wonderful time with Aquasail. Sanjay was a great coordinator, and we appreciated the hassle-free refund for the day we couldn't attend. One Minor Drawback: The beach area was unfortunately rocky and muddy, making it unsuitable for swimming. Overall: Despite the minor beach issue, our stay at the Goa Grand Hyatt was truly memorable. The exceptional service, luxurious amenities, and the unforgettable New Year's Eve celebration made it a highly recommended destination. Tips for Future Guests: * Book in advance for the New Year's Eve party to avoid disappointment. * Consider dining at Chulha Restaurant and enjoy the exceptional service of Sudha.

The room was spotless, spacious, and offered spectacular views—perfect for a peaceful getaway. The entire property is beautifully maintained, with quiet corners to relax and unwind. The pool area was a personal favorite—serene and relaxing. Dining was also a highlight, with a wide selection of fresh, flavorful dishes and excellent service throughout. What made our stay truly special was the personal touch. Chandnan kept in touch during our visit and thoughtfully arranged a surprise anniversary celebration with flowers, wine, and cake in our room — an unforgettable gesture. We were also looked after wonderfully by the housekeeping team, especially Priyaranjan and Suman. Their attention to detail made a real difference. We also had the pleasure of meeting Rahul and Sangeeta, who made us feel genuinely at home. Whether you're after rest, luxury, or a bit of both, Grand Hyatt Goa delivers on every level. The service was incredible - the hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. We notified them in advance that our child had additional needs and Mridusmita went above and beyond for us. She arranged for us to have Riya as our butler, who was the kindest and sweetest soul. Nothing was too much of an ask - she went out of her way to ensure our son had everything he needed. And for us as parents to be at ease and comfortable. Riya and Mridusmita are one of a kind and we can’t thank them enough :-) we also had a great housekeeping team Sonu and Anand who put lovely surprises in our room which our son loved. The room was always so clean and well looked after. A beautiful 5* resort with stunning interior and facilities. The pool was always the perfect temperature and so well maintained as were the grounds. So much for the kids to do in particular the kids club, and we loved the italian and indian restaurants so much! We cannot recommend this hotel enough, everyone is so welcoming and we cannot wait to go back again (hopefully for a much longer trip!)

At all times there were helpful and friendly staff on hand to ensure our stay was fantastic, whilst the pool and other facilities were great for the children. The staff around the pool were brilliant, the young manager and his colleague Bishnu, were superb. The hotel is kept in fantastic condition, whilst the selection of restaurants and food at the buffet was really good, moreso the willingness to provide a dish outside of a la carte is always welcomed.
